The local currency is the Tanzanian shilling. And even though dollars and euros are still used in the most touristic places, the only official currency is the Tanzanian shilling and should be used, especially for all your small expenses.
The official language of Tanzania is Swahili, and most of our people speak it. Just as well, as we have well over 100 different tribal languages! Fortunately English is widely spoken in the larger towns and places where visitors frequent.

We mainly offer private safaris, which provide a more personalized and flexible experience. This allows you to travel at your own pace, spend more time at sightings, and customize activities. However, for travelers who prefer a shared experience or are traveling on a budget, we can also arrange small group safaris upon request.
